On August 3rd, 2015, we gathered at Joe's Pub to travel back to the mid-90's and revisit Alanis Morissette's seminal work, Jagged Little Pill, performed live in it's entirety to celebrate the album's 20th anniversary.

Lead by singer/songwriter EMME, this event featured an eclectic mix of musicians gathered to honor a piece that holds a special place in the hearts of many.

EMME
Inspired by love, broken hearts, sex, alcohol, and the tricks the universe plays. Emme is a multi-faceted singer/songwriter who works in almost all genres and roles—she doesn't always play what she writes or write what she plays.

For this event she encourages you to bring your angst and flannel and travel back to the glory days of 1995...

JOEY CALVERI
Broadway: Rock of Ages (Stacee Jaxx) and Wonderland (Knight). Las Vegas: We Will Rock You (Galileo). US and European Tours: Saturday Night Fever (Tony Manero/Double J), West Side Story (Action), Grease Das Musical (Kenickie) Regional: Hair (Berger), Trip of Love (Peter), Assassins (Balladeer). He has written an original show For Madmen Only and also does paintings on the side. Check out his original rock band MACHINE ELVES and their debut album "Fancy Suits and Cigarettes" and the new album coming out this Spring "The Unbelievable Destruction of the Ego Maniac."

 

ROBYN ADELE ANDERSON
is best known as one of the featured vocalists of the YouTube cover group Postmodern Jukebox. She is currently starring as Lilyan Tashman in the Speakeasy Dollhouse series "Ziegfeld's Midnight Frolic" and has also performed as a musical guest alongside the NYC-based duo The Skivvies and The Flatiron Follies.

 

LORA LEE GAYER

CAMILLE TRZCINSKI
is a Florida State University graduate now living in New York City. Recent credits include: ILT90s show: Fresh Kids of Bel-Air, Casanova: A New Musical, Rudy On Drums and a variety of musical projects. ALI GRIEB
After moving to Georgia with her Jewish Mother from the Bronx and spending what felt like an eternity in the South, Ali moved to New York as soon as she was out of school! After doing several Off-Broadway shows and landing numerous callbacks for mothers and quirky best friends, Ali decided to change it up a bit and write her own shows.  Her original show, "Sin Stops Here", premiered at Joe's Pub and landed her one of five Artist in Residence spots for 2015! She and her band, The Heroes of Happy Hour, can be found mixing big band vibes with old favorites and most importantly, lots of laughs. www.aligrieb.com

 

JACOB MONDRY
is a soul-pop, singer-songwriter from Detroit, MI. His debut solo record, uniSon, released in March 2015, is currently playing on 125+ stations nationwide. He also wrote and performs in a sci-fi-disco-drag musical about an alien transvestite named Essi X. Her magic power is called... The Fabulous.
